I am leading a free one hour workshop coming up on Wednesday August 2nd at the Planet Organic in Royal Oak, north west Calgary at 7pm. In this workshop, I will briefly speak to the benefits of fermented foods, and will demo the ins and outs of how to make your own at home. I will demo how to make a simple Dilly Carrot ferment and a simple Sauerkraut so that you too can try your hand fermenting at home.
Ferments are full of live enzymes and carry a healthy dose of probiotics, it's kinda like eating your vegetables and supplements in super-boost mode. Frugal-friendly to boot! Suffice it to say, your grandmother and great-grandmothers would be proud.
